Weed Control
Unfortunately, maintaining a weed-free landscape here in Arizona is not easy. Not only do weeds detract from your property's appearance, they can aggravate allergies, create tumbleweeds, and can even become a fire hazard.
According to Phoenix City Code Chapter 39, Sec. 39-7D, property owners are responsible for keeping their properties, and the adjacent rights of way, free of dead or dried vegetation. This includes weeds, tall grasses, tumbleweeds, shrubs, trees, palm fronds, etc. Furthermore, the code states that weeds cannot exceed six inches in height.
